‘I new I wanted to be musician ever since I was very small. I remember my Dad used to often play me songs on his acoustic guitar and I loved it, I guess that's where I first found my love for music. Throughout school my Mum and Dad made me play the double bass, I never enjoyed that very much so once I’d left Primary School I decided to take up the guitar. As soon as I started playing I new this was the instrument for me; I loved it!

Throughout my early teens I was involved in a number of bands, none where ever very successful but we played the odd gig here and there which was a great experience for me. However I never really enjoyed being part of a band as much I did playing solo, I guess it just never felt right, I’ve always liked the idea that everyone in the audience had their attention on me and only me so I decided to go down the solo route.

I think that turned out to be a good decision in the end because I’m really enjoying my career at the moment and the first album was a real success. I never really expected to sell that many albums and believe it charted at number seven in May so that was a really nice surprise for me. The new album is more of the same really but better. Compared to the last album where all of the songs where recorded using an acoustic guitar, well some of the songs on this one are recorded using a digital guitar. The sound is different but I really like it and I hope all my fans do to.’
