There are a wide range of music magazines, which target many different age ranges. For example Uncut magazine aims there magazine at 30-45 year olds. This is shown by the bands and artists which are featured in the magazine. There are interviews with Paul Weller and The Rolling Stones. Whereas a magazine like Kerrang is aimed at 15-19 year olds. I want to base my magazine on NME Magazine because it is similar to what I want my magazine to be like. NME Magazine is aimed at 16-24 year olds so that is the same target audience I want my magazine to be. I think people of this age would like a number of different things to feature in a music magazine. For example interviews, special features, and album and track reviews. To appeal to the younger audiance of my magazine (16 year olds) then I could perhaps have prizes and special offers for them to win.
